Art Analysis
Horizontal division of stippled tones
This image is organized into two horizontal sections that meet along a jagged, uneven boundary near the middle of the frame. The upper portion, which takes up more than half of the space, is filled with various shades of blue. The lower portion contains off-white, beige, and light brown tones. The entire surface is covered in a consistent texture of small, overlapping spots and granular marks that do not form any recognizable objects or figures.
The eye follows the central line where the blue and brown areas meet across the width of the picture. Within each section, the mottled and stippled patterns create a field of varying shades rather than solid blocks of color. These small marks are distributed evenly across the top and bottom, maintaining the same granular appearance from the top edge down to the bottom edge.
