Art Analysis
Quadrants and zigzagging dots
The image is organized into four rectangular sections divided by heavy dark lines. A central vertical column separates these quadrants, containing a line of dots that connects in a zigzag pattern from top to bottom. Large concentric circles fill the two sections on the left side, while the right side features vertical stripes and a large partial circle that sits against the outer edge. The composition uses a flat perspective where shapes like dots and lines sit next to or on top of one another.
The color scheme is restricted to red, black, dark blue, grey, and off-white. Small dots and thin lines contrast with the larger, solid rectangles and circles. In the top-left and bottom-left areas, the circles expand outward to fill the available space, while the right-hand sections use straight vertical lines to create a different rhythm. The eye follows the central zigzagging line as it moves between the four main blocks of color and shape.
