Art Analysis
Layered shapes in a grid
This abstract image organizes a variety of geometric forms into a strict six-by-six grid. Each of the thirty-six tiles contains a unique arrangement of triangles, semicircles, and rectangles. While every square follows the same outer dimensions, the internal compositions vary, creating a complex pattern that fills the entire frame. Bright pink, orange, yellow, green, and purple tones provide a background for the shapes, while a grainy texture covers these colored surfaces.
Thick white lines and solid white circles repeat across the composition, acting as a consistent layer over the colorful base. In some tiles, a white circle sits centered within a square, while in others, a white line cuts diagonally across a group of triangles. These white elements stand out against the darker purple and green sections. The eye moves across the rows, following the way the lines and curves connect or break between the individual tiles.
