Art Analysis
Interlocking circles and spanning lines
This work presents a flat, two-dimensional arrangement where geometric shapes fill the entire square frame. Large circles sit in the upper left and lower right corners, while thin vertical and diagonal lines stretch across the full height and width of the image. The composition lacks a single central spot for the eye to rest, instead spreading triangles, squares, and circles across the surface in a dense, layered pattern. The colors used throughout the piece are pink, teal, yellow, white, and black.
A closer look reveals that many of the circles are not solid but contain smaller concentric rings inside them. These shapes connect and overlap with straight lines that intersect at various angles. Some areas of the color show a slight speckled texture rather than a smooth finish. While the artist describes this as a geometric modern abstract pattern, the arrangement remains strictly non-representational with no text or lettering included.
