Art Analysis
Overlapping circles and grainy textures
This square composition is built from a dense arrangement of geometric shapes that fill the entire frame. A large structure of concentric circles sits just above the center, acting as the primary anchor for the eye. Smaller clusters of circles and solid dots occupy the corners and edges, while straight horizontal and vertical lines cut through the centers of these shapes. The elements overlap and intersect across a flat surface, with many lines and curves bleeding off the four sides of the image.
The colors include purple, magenta, orange, and teal, set against white. A grainy texture is visible across every colored surface, giving the flat shapes a speckled appearance. While the artist describes this as a modern abstract pattern, the arrangement relies on the way the thin lines bridge the gaps between the circular forms. Some lines run the full width or height of the work, connecting the smaller clusters at the edges to the larger central form.
