In this portrait-oriented map, Carla Daly replaces traditional cartographic precision with a lively, cartoon-inspired world. The digital art style uses clean lines and a vibrant palette to highlight the unique character of the Dutch landscape, featuring iconic symbols and local fauna that invite viewers to explore the region from a whimsical perspective.

By blending the structure of a travel map with the warmth of children’s illustration, the piece functions as both a decorative guide and a narrative work. The arrangement of animals across the terrain creates a sense of discovery, turning a geographical layout into an accessible, joyful exploration of place and nature.
