In this portrait-oriented composition, the Toronto skyline is stripped of its industrial grit and reimagined through a palette of vivid, saturated tones. Daly focuses on the iconic silhouette of the city, using bold outlines and flat planes of color to create a sense of depth and movement within the vertical frame. The arrangement of buildings feels less like a rigid grid and more like a living, breathing landscape of light and structure.

By emphasizing the height and reach of the city's most recognizable landmarks, the artwork captures a specific sense of place while maintaining a whimsical, illustrative quality. The vertical orientation draws the eye upward, mimicking the experience of standing at street level and looking toward the clouds. It is a focused study on how color can redefine our perception of the built environment, turning concrete and glass into a vibrant visual playground.
