In this piece, Kosunen explores the intersection of organic growth and abstract expression. The work centers on a deep, saturated palette where fiery tones collide with the cooling shadows of foliage, creating a sense of depth that feels both intimate and expansive. By stripping away fine detail, the artist focuses on the rhythmic movement of petals and the tactile quality of the paint, allowing the viewer to experience the flower as a living, breathing force rather than a static specimen.

The vertical composition emphasizes the upward reach of nature, grounding the botanical subject in a space that feels distinctly modern. The interplay of bold strokes and layered hues suggests a garden caught in a moment of intense transition, where the boundaries between the plant life and the surrounding air begin to blur. It is a study of vitality, rendered with a sincerity that honors the unpredictable beauty of the natural world.
