Layered stripes and vertical text
This composition centers on a black silhouette of the Statue of Liberty from the chest upward, set against a plain white background. The figure extends to the bottom and right edges, showing the spiked crown and the torch held aloft. Horizontal tan stripes with a textured, metallic appearance run across the dark shape at different heights and widths. The arrangement uses a limited color scheme of black, white, and tan to create a decorative urban view.
Text is placed in three corners of the frame to balance the central figure. The words NEW YORK CITY run vertically along the left side, while STATUE OF LIBERTY and USA occupy the top right. In the bottom left corner, the words LIBERTY ISLAND appear in a smaller font. These graphic nuances and the clean lines of the silhouette contribute to the minimalist design of the piece.
