In this portrait-oriented ink drawing, Raipa Studio explores the rhythmic patterns found within a dense thicket of flora. The composition uses high-contrast linework to build a sense of depth, layering broad leaves and intricate botanical details that frame a central cat. By leaning into an illustrative style, the artist captures the hidden life of a garden, turning a simple landscape into a textured, immersive world of shadow and form.

The piece moves between representational landscape and abstract pattern, where the organic shapes of the plants begin to take on a life of their own. The ink medium allows for a sharp clarity that highlights the interplay between the stillness of the cat and the vibrant energy of the surrounding greenery. It is a focused study on how ink can translate the heavy, humid atmosphere of a tropical environment into a crisp, graphic visual experience.
