This hybrid approach preserves the textured, comic-inspired linework while allowing for a vibrant color selection that pulses with energy. Originally created for Hammerton Brewery’s Blood Orange IPA, the composition uses a classic frame to contain a scene that feels like a fragment of a larger, darker odyssey.

The artwork navigates the space between commercial illustration and subconscious intuition, populating its landscape with majestic mythical creatures and monstrous horror themes. Through stylized typography and supernatural elements, Ryan crafts an atmosphere of travel and discovery. It is a dense, illustrative exploration of the "thicker than water" concept, where the medium of hand-drawn ink provides a grounded foundation for an abstract, otherworldly narrative.
