This composition is arranged on a solid white background with visual elements divided into two distinct sections. Three teal brushstrokes are stacked horizontally in the upper half of the frame. Below these, the words "Choose Happy" are centered. The word "Choose" appears in a grey serif font, while the word "Happy" is written in a teal cursive script that sits directly over the grey lettering.

The use of turquoise throughout the strokes and the script links the top and bottom of the image. Melanie Viola notes that this specific color represents qualities like healing and sociability. The arrangement places the motivational phrase at the base of the image, supporting the more abstract marks above. The grey tone of the first word provides a neutral contrast to the brighter teal elements.

This artwork is part of a series that includes a version in pink, allowing for different color associations with the same phrase.
