The Fiery Gradient of a Liquid Dawn
This illustration centers on the chromatic weight of a classic cocktail, focusing entirely on the fluid transition from a pale golden yellow into a deep, concentrated ruby red. By isolating the drink against a portrait orientation, the artist emphasizes the density of the ingredients, allowing the viewer to trace the path of the grenadine as it settles through the orange juice. The result is a bold, graphic study of light and liquid that feels both energetic and grounded.
Drawing heavily from a funky 70s aesthetic, the work utilizes a warm, saturated palette to evoke the relaxed atmosphere of a social gathering. The fiery gradient serves as a visual anchor, bringing a sense of vintage style and spirited movement to a dining or bar area. It is a celebration of the 'Golden Hour,' captured through the lens of mixology and retro design.
The piece adopts the grainy, desaturated palette of mid-century print media to evoke a sense of nostalgia.
The piece focuses on the seamless blending of golden yellow, bright orange, and ruby red to mimic the natural layers of a cocktail.
By depicting the Tequila Sunrise, the artist explores the visual appeal of classic drinks as a focal point for hospitality.
