This piece centers on the iconic silhouette of Barcelona’s most famous cathedral, utilizing a vertical orientation that emphasizes the height and ambition of the stone towers. The aesthetic draws heavily from mid-century travel graphics, employing a muted palette and textured overlays that suggest a document found in a collector’s archive. By framing the architecture within the context of a world map, the artist positions the structure not just as a building, but as a vital coordinate in the global landscape.

Fine lines and typographic elements ground the composition, echoing the detailed cartography of a bygone era. The interplay between the structured cityscape and the aged paper effect creates a tactile quality, making the grand scale of the architecture feel intimate and approachable. It is a study of place and memory, focusing on the enduring allure of monumental design and the spirit of exploration.
