In this digital drawing, Kosunen explores the intersection of traditional ink aesthetics and modern graphic design. The composition focuses on the iconic silhouette of mistletoe, where the waxy texture of the leaves and the roundness of the berries are rendered with a disciplined hand. By isolating the botanical subject against a minimalist backdrop, the artist emphasizes the rhythmic patterns found in nature’s own architecture.

The work functions as both a botanical study and a decorative emblem, utilizing the portrait orientation to give the holiday bow a sense of graceful suspension. Every stroke feels intentional, moving away from mere decoration toward a thoughtful exploration of line and volume. The result is a crisp, legible illustration that honors the quiet, green vitality of midwinter greenery.
