In this digital illustration, Kosunen explores the physics of softness. The cat is not merely sitting; it is poured into its glass container, its fur spreading out in delicate, wispy layers that meet the hard edge of the vessel. The portrait orientation focuses the viewer’s eye on the compact, rounded silhouette, highlighting the weight and texture of the animal as it settles into its transparent perch.

The artist uses the digital medium to fine-tune the interplay of light and shadow within the fur, creating a sense of depth that feels both whimsical and grounded. By isolating the subject against a simple backdrop, the work emphasizes the charm of animal behavior and the strange, liquid-like nature of a cat at rest. It is a study of form and pressure, rendered with a gentle hand.
