In this composition, aunulart employs the transparency of watercolour to mimic the shifting light of a sunrise. The view from the window is not merely a backdrop but a rhythmic arrangement of space, where the geometry of the city meets the sprawling freedom of nature. By leaning into a Matisse-inspired palette, the artist prioritizes the emotional resonance of color over strict realism, allowing the warmth of the horizon to bleed into the cool shadows of the foreground.

The vertical orientation emphasizes a sense of personal perspective, inviting a quiet intimacy usually reserved for portraiture. Instead of a human subject, the focus shifts to the atmosphere itself—the way light occupies a room and the expansive feeling of looking out toward an open horizon. The brushwork remains visible and loose, celebrating the tactile quality of the medium while maintaining a balanced, serene composition.
