In this composition, the bold, radial symmetry of sunflowers serves as a grounded backdrop for a ghostly figure, blending the organic textures of nature with a lighthearted supernatural element. The artist utilizes the vertical orientation to emphasize the height of the stalks, allowing the viewer to feel as though they are standing within a sun-drenched field where the veil between worlds has grown thin.

By placing a classic ghost motif amidst the heavy, seed-laden heads of the flowers, the work explores the intersection of harvest and haunt. The contrast between the golden hues of the petals and the simple, pale form of the spirit evokes a sense of nostalgic charm, capturing the specific atmosphere of October afternoons where the light begins to fade earlier each day.
