In this piece, the artist explores the domestic mystery of a cat claiming a bathtub as its own. The vertical orientation emphasizes the depth of the basin, framing the subject in a way that highlights the contrast between the animal's soft fur and the hard, reflective surface of the tub. The focal point remains the vivid green eyes, which provide a sharp pop of color against a neutral palette.

The composition relies on the simplicity of the setting to draw attention to the cat’s expression and posture. By positioning the viewer at eye level with the subject, the work creates a sense of shared space and quiet observation. It is a study of texture and gaze, finding a moment of stillness in an everyday corner of the home.
