Stacked lettering and ink splatters
This black and white image centers three lines of text between two groups of irregular dots and splatters. The eye starts at the top with a cluster of these dark marks before moving down to the word "explore." The lettering is arranged vertically, with the middle word "the" appearing much smaller than the others. Long, wavy horizontal lines stretch out from either side of this middle word, reaching toward the sides of the frame. A second group of splatters sits at the very bottom, balancing the composition.
The artist uses two different styles of lettering to distinguish the words. The top and bottom words appear in a tall, thin typeface without decorative feet, while the middle word uses a flowing cursive script. These plain, dark shapes against the white background create a clear, readable layout. By presenting this motivational phrase in such a direct way, the work focuses on the power of words to influence a person's thoughts and future actions.
