In Earth Waves, Saputra explores the intersection of organic movement and structural simplicity. The piece is built upon a series of sweeping, wave-like forms that mimic the rise and fall of a landscape, rendered with a tactile smoothness that invites the eye to linger. By layering these soft, natural curves alongside minimalist geometric elements, the artist creates a sense of grounded harmony that feels both expansive and contained.

The work adheres to a restrained aesthetic, favoring clarity and balance over complex ornamentation. Its vertical orientation emphasizes the graceful flow of the shapes, while the classic framing provides a traditional anchor for the modern imagery. The result is a meditative study of motion that captures the quiet, persistent strength of the earth through a refined, stripped-back lens.
