In this illustration, Kubistika employs a bold, monochromatic palette to explore the intersection of light and organic form. The tree is rendered with a soft, feathery texture that mimics the delicate structure of a plume, creating a sense of lightness despite its deep black ink. Positioned directly before a large, unadorned sun, the tree becomes a focal point of stillness, stripping away the complexity of a forest to focus on a single, iconic shape.

The composition relies on a simplified design that emphasizes the contrast between the sharp graphic aesthetic and the soft, radiant atmosphere of the background. By removing extraneous detail, the artist invites a perspective of peaceful solitude, where the viewer can focus on the interplay of shadow and circular geometry. The result is a meditative study of nature that feels both grounded and ethereal, captured within a classic portrait orientation.
