This piece utilizes a restricted palette and sharp silhouettes to explore the relationship between the earth and the sky. A single tree stands grounded at the base, its branches reaching upward toward a massive, textured sun that dominates the composition with its deep rouge tones. The use of sunburst patterns and varied textures creates a sense of heat and energy, making the celestial body feel like a living pulse within the frame.

Flocking birds navigate the space between the branches and the sun, their small forms suggesting a vast aerial exploration. By stripping away fine detail in favor of strong shapes, the work emphasizes the cyclical nature of the environment and the constant movement of wildlife. The contrast between the dark botanical elements and the glowing orb highlights a balance between the stillness of the land and the dynamic activity of the sky.
