In this digital illustration, Kosunen explores the tactile comfort of a cat in repose. The composition utilizes the portrait orientation to focus entirely on the subject, stripping away environmental clutter to emphasize the rhythmic curves of a sleeping animal. The integration of typography suggests a graphic design influence, where text and image occupy the same flattened plane to create a cohesive visual narrative about stillness.

The drawing style balances the sharpness of digital tools with an approachable, illustrative warmth. By focusing on the essential shapes of the cat’s posture, the artist captures a universal sense of security and warmth. The result is a graphic study that feels both deliberate in its design and spontaneous in its depiction of a fleeting, cozy habit.
