In this work, Daly utilizes a squared orientation to create a sense of contained energy, where every inch of the canvas is filled with the charm of a seaside village. The composition relies on simplified architectural forms and a bright, saturated palette to evoke the sun-drenched atmosphere of a harbor town. Each building stands as a distinct character within the collective, defined by clean lines and whimsical details that suggest a narrative of quiet, happy streets.

By focusing on the structural rhythm of the town, the artist emphasizes the harmony between the built environment and the coastal spirit. The flattened perspective and bold use of color remove unnecessary shadows, resulting in a clear, graphic quality that feels both inviting and organized. It is a study of how color and shape can translate the feeling of a place into a structured, visual celebration.
