This digital illustration reimagines the traditional herbarium as a functional alphabet, where each letter is formed by the delicate curves and textures of botanical life. The artist employs a vintage aesthetic that favors soft tones and intricate linework, grounding the digital medium in a style that feels rooted in historical naturalism. Every leaf and petal is positioned with intentionality, creating a rhythmic flow that guides the eye through a lush, green vocabulary.

By merging the organic unpredictability of nature with the rigid structure of typography, Wild Violets explores how we categorize and find meaning in the wild. The portrait composition emphasizes the vertical growth of the plants, allowing the viewer to appreciate the subtle details of stems and blooms as they intertwine to form a cohesive, educational, and decorative whole.
