In this portrait-oriented composition, Nazma Khokhar captures the iconic archetypes of a cinematic touchstone. By arranging the characters within a vertical frame, the artist highlights the individual textures of their personalities while binding them together in a cohesive group study. The work relies on the recognizable silhouettes and expressions of the ensemble, translating a narrative about social barriers into a static, reflective visual arrangement.

The artist focuses on the proximity of the figures, suggesting a moment of forced connection that eventually becomes genuine. The vertical orientation serves to stack the characters, drawing the eye through the hierarchy of the group and inviting the viewer to consider the internal world of each student. It is a grounded exploration of youth and the common threads that emerge when social labels are stripped away.
