In this portrait-oriented composition, Elena Ristova explores the interplay between interior structure and the natural world. The central arch serves as a portal, inviting the eye to rest on simplified forms and a palette rooted in clay and sun-bleached tones. By stripping away unnecessary detail, the artist focuses on the harmony of curves and the steady rhythm of light and shadow.

The vertical arrangement emphasizes a feeling of height and openness, mimicking the way light pours through a physical opening. Ristova’s approach relies on a refined balance of shape, where the solid presence of the window frame meets the fluid, soft-edged elements of the bohemian aesthetic. The result is a grounded visual experience that feels both intentional and deeply calm.
