Gallagher uses a minimalist approach to explore botanical structures, stripping away the noise to find the core geometry of leaves and petals. The use of watercolor techniques adds a fluid, living quality to the sharp edges of the composition, suggesting the movement of sea breezes through dense foliage.

By blending traditional botanical illustration with an abstract sensibility, the artist creates a space where the natural world feels both familiar and reimagined through a graphic eye.
