In this composition, Ristova utilizes the interplay of fundamental shapes to create a grounded yet ethereal atmosphere. The arch serves as a structural anchor, framing the void and directing the eye toward the central circular element. By stripping away extraneous detail, the artist focuses on the weight and proportion of these forms, allowing the negative space to feel as intentional and heavy as the shapes themselves.

The verticality of the portrait format enhances the architectural quality of the work, suggesting a doorway or a window into a quiet, simplified world. The repetition of curves creates a rhythmic harmony that feels both ancient and fresh, inviting a meditative gaze into the relationship between shadow, light, and geometry.
