Art Analysis
From the artist, Linda Carruth
Environmental issues concern the entire world and all the creatures living in it, from this lone giraffe to all of us. Each counts. This blue marble we live on is dying and the vultures are lying in wait. Two world maps lie softly in the background, under a polygonal structure symbolizing communications and the interference on the electromagnetic spectrum. A bovine skull serves as a grim warning of what may be to come.
