Art Analysis

From the artist, Linda Carruth

Unraveled features a textile material seemingly surrounding a colorful tunnel, unraveling against a geometric stone tile background. More of an abstract than a concept piece, this piece was inspired by black holes and how they might relate to solid matter. Organic elements soften the composition.
