Floating branches and soft circles
This vertical composition features two branching organic forms that appear to float against a plain white background. The larger shape occupies the top half of the frame, while a smaller counterpart rests in the lower right corner. These tan and reddish-brown figures are surrounded by five circular elements of different sizes and tones. A large ring sits in the upper right, balanced by a solid circle in the lower left. Three smaller circles in pale pink and light grey are scattered near the top, middle, and bottom edges.
The arrangement relies on the contrast between the sharp, reaching lines of the branching shapes and the smooth edges of the surrounding circles. While the larger forms are dark and earthy in tone, the circles use light, muted colors. This layout creates a sense of movement, as if the various pieces are drifting through the frame. The lack of text or background detail keeps the focus entirely on how these different shapes relate to one another.
As part of the Twisted Beats series, this piece shares a pop art character with other works like No. 4 - Underwater and No. 2 - Funky Seventies. It continues the series' focus on rhythmic, surreal movements through its specific coral-like shapes and color composition.
