Art Analysis
A rhythmic architecture of sharp geometric play
In this composition, Valle explores the dynamic possibilities of a single geometric shape, layering triangles to build a visual language of height and depth. The portrait orientation emphasizes a vertical climb, drawing the eye upward through a series of interlocking planes that mimic the organized chaos of a big-top performance.
The work relies on the tension between mathematical clarity and artistic play. By focusing on the interplay of sharp points and flat surfaces, Valle creates a space that feels both architectural and kinetic, inviting the viewer to find hidden patterns within the disciplined arrangement of the circus-like structure.
The work uses non-representational shapes to build a balanced composition that prioritizes form and color over literal imagery.
The portrait orientation creates a narrow field of vision that emphasizes the height and towering presence of the central figure against the graffiti.
The arrangement of angles suggests a vibrating, active environment reminiscent of a live performance or a mechanical dance.
