In this landscape composition, Rakos reimagines the natural world through a lens of saturated blues and stylized forms. The lemurs are rendered with a distinct cartoon influence, emphasizing expressive shapes and bold outlines that give the creatures a sense of animated personality. By stripping away realistic palettes, the artist focuses on the rhythmic placement of the animals within their environment, creating a scene that feels both energetic and lighthearted.

The digital medium allows for a crispness of line and a depth of color that anchors the surreal subject matter. The horizontal orientation provides a wide window into this alternate habitat, inviting the viewer to follow the gaze and posture of the lemurs as they occupy their space. It is a study in how digital tools can bridge the gap between wildlife observation and pure, imaginative illustration.
