In this whimsical composition, Lisboa utilizes the fluid transparency of watercolor to bridge the gap between reality and imagination. A solitary astronaut stands amidst a scattering of blue, grey, and yellow celestial bodies, clutching a singular, oversized star as if it were a common balloon. The soft washes of color create a gentle atmosphere, suggesting that the vacuum of space is not a cold void, but a soft landscape for dreaming.

The vertical orientation emphasizes the upward reach of childhood ambition, drawing the eye from the grounded figure to the weightless glow of the star above. By simplifying the cosmic scale into a tactile, intimate moment, the work captures the earnest belief that the wonders of the universe are within a child's grasp. The palette remains restrained yet playful, allowing the vibrant yellow of the primary star to anchor the scene against the muted tones of its smaller companions.
