In this landscape study, KISSA STUDIO explores the raw textures of Iceland, where the natural world and the living environment are inextricably linked. The composition relies on a minimal palette, allowing the jagged edges of the mountain to speak through the soft veil of snow. By focusing on the structural integrity of the peak, the artist captures a sense of stillness that feels both immense and intimate.

The Scandi influence is evident in the clean lines and the deliberate use of negative space, which emphasizes the isolation of the terrain. This photography avoids dramatic artifice, instead leaning into the honest, cold reality of the north. The horizontal orientation invites the eye to wander across the ridges, finding beauty in the sparse, unadorned geometry of the volcanic soil and frozen water.
