Art Analysis

From the artist, Kate Walton

The Snake Charmer is a combination of many concepts. Age-old traditions of charming snakes, attempting to control their fragility combined with the fragility of their birth. Peering through a stage like layer of botanicals. This is the original drawing with graphite, liquid gold paint and gouache.
