Collier employs a unified composition strategy to organize an array of flowers and autumn foliage into a rich, layered environment. By focusing on plant parts anatomy and green foliage, she grounds the work in a detailed exploration of natural elements, making the garden feel both intimate and expansive.

The piece draws inspiration from classic still life painting, yet introduces a sense of dynamic movement through its butterfly species diversity. The inclusion of majestic bird wildlife alongside the insects creates a narrative of a floral garden sanctuary, where artistic animal representations are nestled within a tapestry of seasonal growth.
