In this digital drawing, the artist employs a minimal aesthetic to celebrate the distinct silhouette of a Westie. The composition relies on clean contours and a restrained palette, allowing the viewer to focus on the expressive quality of the linework rather than unnecessary detail. By prioritizing negative space, the piece feels light and airy, mirroring the nimble nature of the animal it depicts.

The portrait orientation focuses the gaze directly on the subject, creating a sense of quiet companionship. This approach to illustration avoids visual clutter, instead using subtle digital strokes to suggest texture and form. The result is a balanced work that feels both modern and deeply personal, capturing a specific canine personality through a lens of graphic simplicity.
