Overlapping panels and teal tones
This image presents the stone tower of the Brooklyn Bridge through three separate rectangular panels that overlap on a white, textured background. The largest panel sits in the center, showing the top of the tower and its pointed arches, while a smaller section to the left and a vertical strip below show the side and base. Diagonal cables stretch upward from the stonework, cutting across the light blue and teal tones that fill the panels.
Lettering and numbers are placed around the bridge structure to provide specific details. The bridge's name runs vertically along the right side, and geographic coordinates are printed across the top. At the bottom, the letters NYC are layered over a horizontal band, with the date 1883 appearing in small print. These elements combine with the smoky textures to create the minimalist impression mentioned by the artist.
This work belongs to a series that includes a version in pink marble, offering a different color variation of the same architectural study.
