Art Analysis

From the artist, The Learning Curve Photography

Constructed in 1887 with the front three floor structure built in 1895, McCarten House is a mixed residential/commercial building at No 993 Queen St E in The Leslieville neighbourhood of Toronto Canada. Restored by Carl Stryg between 1985 and 2000, the building was listed as a Heritage Property by The City Of Toronto in 2005 and the lane on it's south side was renamed in Stryg's honor after his death in 2014. Original photography from 2021 using a Canon EOS RP body with a Sigma 24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM Art lens. Reprocessed using Silver EFEX Pro as a Lightroom plugin for the Black and White conversion.
