In this squared composition, Carla Daly captures a lively moment on the streets of New York, where the familiar silhouette of a taxi becomes a vessel for imagination. The artwork balances the bold, recognizable colors of urban transit with a cast of animal passengers, turning a routine city sight into a narrative filled with character and charm. Each figure is rendered with a sense of personality that invites the viewer to linger on the small, humorous details of their journey.

The choice of a square format anchors the busy scene, providing a balanced frame for the vibrant activity within. By stripping away the grit of the metropolis and replacing it with clean lines and a bright palette, Daly focuses on the lighthearted side of travel. The result is a piece that feels both organized and energetic, celebrating the chaotic harmony of a world where animals take the wheel.
