In this portrait-oriented composition, Solomoniuk explores the intersection of domestic habit and deep internal reflection. The verticality of the frame emphasizes a sense of descent, mirroring the way a morning caffeine ritual can feel like a deep dive into one's own consciousness before facing the external world. The brushwork and color palette suggest a fluid environment, where the boundaries between the physical act of drinking coffee and the psychological state of waking up become blurred.

The artist avoids the clutter of a traditional kitchen scene, focusing instead on the atmospheric quality of the 'dive.' By isolating the subject within this upright format, the work highlights the intimacy of a private habit. It is a study of transition—from the stillness of sleep to the sharp clarity of the first sip—rendered with a grounded, observant eye that finds the weight in a fleeting daily gesture.
