In this composition, Costa reimagines the traditional evening sky through a lens of rigid geometry and science fiction influence. By utilizing clean lines and a portrait orientation, the artist directs the eye upward, mimicking the verticality of a high-tech interface or a pixelated landscape. The work avoids the fluid chaos of nature, opting instead for a calculated arrangement of shapes that suggests a world built from code and historical design principles.

The interplay of form speaks to a geek culture sensibility, where the beauty of a sunset is translated into the language of gaming and graphic precision. There is a quiet strength in the way these flat elements occupy the frame, creating a sense of balance that feels both ancient and ahead of its time. It is a study in how minimal intervention can evoke a vast, atmospheric sense of space.
