Gold textures and concentric lines
A large, textured gold shape sits in the middle of this vertical composition, acting as a central anchor for the surrounding elements. Around it, various rounded forms in gray and gold are spread across a light background. Some of these shapes contain patterns of small black dots or thin concentric lines that follow the outer curves. A large gray shape occupies the lower right corner, while smaller gold forms are placed near the top and bottom edges.
Thin, curved black lines wind through the arrangement, connecting different areas of the image. Scattered gold flecks appear across the white surface, adding small details between the larger blocks of color. The piece uses a limited range of gold, gray, white, and black to build its minimalistic look, relying on the contrast between solid shapes and fine, detailed marks.
This work is the first in a series of three pieces, appearing alongside Mid-Century Vintage No. 2 | gold and Mid-Century Vintage No. 3 | gold, which share the same graphic style.
