In this portrait-oriented map, Deificus employs a rigorous graphic design approach to interpret the Colombian landscape. By isolating the city’s architectural profile against a neutral backdrop, the artist emphasizes the relationship between the built environment and the void, turning a complex metropolis into a legible, minimalist icon. The work functions as both a navigational relic and a piece of abstract art, where the density of the streets is balanced by the deliberate use of negative space.

The piece invites a quiet contemplation of place, moving beyond the traditional utility of cartography to find a poetic stillness in urban planning. Through sharp lines and a restrained palette, the composition captures the spirit of travel and discovery, framing the memory of a city as a collection of essential shapes and intersections.
