In this landscape, the artist utilizes the fluid transparency of watercolour to build a scene defined by the meeting of earth and tide. The composition emphasizes the horizontal expanse of the coast, guiding the eye across a terrain that feels both ancient and freshly discovered. Every brushstroke suggests the movement of salt air and the shifting textures of the shoreline, grounding the viewer in a specific moment of outdoor exploration.

There is a distinct focus on the raw character of nature, stripped of artifice and presented with a clear, observant eye. The work avoids sentimentality, instead leaning into the genuine thrill of the horizon and the quiet energy of the water. It functions as a visual record of an encounter with the wild, where the scale of the ocean serves as a catalyst for a personal journey.
