In this portrait-oriented work, Saputra explores the friction between structured form and fluid energy. Dynamic lines cut across the canvas with a sense of urgency, yet they are balanced by deliberate geometric shapes that provide a necessary anchor. The surface is defined by smooth textures, allowing the viewer’s eye to glide across the composition without resistance, mimicking the unhindered flow of a stream or a sudden burst of light.

The piece draws heavily from a restrained aesthetic, utilizing the clarity of the Scandi tradition to keep the focus on movement rather than clutter. By stripping away the superfluous, Saputra highlights how simple intersections of line and shape can evoke a vast, boundless atmosphere. It is an exercise in momentum, where every element works to sustain a high-energy vibration within a quiet, orderly frame.
