In this digital illustration, Rakos explores the intersection of nature and the built environment through a bold, graphic lens. A canal serves as the stage for a lively procession where people and animals share space, framed by the geometric silhouettes of a dense cityscape. The composition uses flat planes of color and sharp lines to define the architecture, while the leopard-print motifs introduce a sense of tactile energy and movement to the water’s edge.

The work functions as a modern tapestry of city life, emphasizing the communal experience of public spaces. By blending traditional illustration techniques with a digital finish, the artist captures a specific kind of urban joy—one where the rigid lines of a metropolis are softened by the presence of life and the unexpected flair of animal patterns. It is a dense, layered exploration of how we inhabit our surroundings, rendered with a clear eye for balance and decorative detail.
